摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid transporting mechanism capable of detecting clogging in a pipe while eliminating a risk of closing a pipe with a solid matter by a pressure gauge with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The waste liquid transporting mechanism 100 includes a plurality of independent pipes 4A to 4D, a single pipe 5, an upstream pipe 6, a pressure gauge 9, a control part 1, and a buffer tank 7. The independent pipes 4A to 4D transport waste liquids of respective color inks collected by recovery apparatuses 20A to 20D. The single pipe 5 transports the waste liquids sent from the independent pipes 4A to 4D to a waste liquid tank 2. The upstream pipe 6 is connected to the side upstream of the connection position of the single pipe 5 with the independent pipe 4D and the buffer tank 7 is connected to the upstream end. The buffer tank 7 is tightly closed by closing a cover part 8. The pressure gauge 9 is installed in the buffer tank 7 to detect the pressure in the buffer tank 7.
