PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel brake hydraulic pressure control device using a normally-open solenoid valve integrated with a pressure sensor, and the normally-open solenoid valve. SOLUTION: In this brake hydraulic pressure control device, the normally-open solenoid valve 1 includes a joint member 28 fluid-tightly fixed on the other end of a guide sleeve 26 and formed with a through passage 281 passing from the side of the guide sleeve through the side opposite to the side of the guide sleeve, an introducing passage 243 having one end communicating with a channel 10b on the side of a valve member 242 and the other end communicating with the through passage 281 of the joint member 28, and a pressure sensor 29 arranged downstream of the through passage 281 and detecting brake hydraulic pressure propagated from the introducing passage 243 through the through passage 281. The pressure sensor 29 detects the brake hydraulic pressure of the channel 10b, and a control means controls the brake hydraulic pressure acting on a brake device based on the detected brake hydraulic pressure.
