<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of maintaining the functions of a toner concentration phase control mechanism, even if there are changes in the size of recording material or image forming timing, and to provide a process cartridge equipped with the developing device and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 5, which develops a latent image on an image carrier 1, by using two-component developer composed of toner and carrier to obtain a developed image (and the process cartridge equipped therewith, and the image forming apparatus), is equipped with the developer toner concentration phase control mechanism which branches a developer conveying route to two routes, and makes the two routes remerge, in such a state that the phase of toner concentration is shifted by a half cycle, thereby reducing the variation of toner concentration, and also maintains a toner concentration phase control function, by changing the revolving speed of developer stirring and conveying members 5b and 5c, according to the variations in the size of the recording material to which an image is transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
