PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for obtaining information for assisting a driver in the driver's actions which are predicted the driver does with respect to an object attracting the driver's attention, when the information about the object attracting the driver's attention is not stored in a predetermined storage medium, in advance. SOLUTION: In this navigation method, the driver obtains the information about land and objects, including the information for specifying positions of the land and objects from the storage medium, detects the direction of line of sight of the driver in own vehicle, and obtains the information about the vehicle indicating the position and direction of the own vehicle. Furthermore, the driver leads out the azimuth in the direction of the driver's line of sight, based on the direction of the driver's line of sight and the direction of the own vehicle, determines whether the land and objects stored in the storage medium as the information about the land and objects exist in the azimuth within the predetermined distance from the position of the own vehicle or not, and obtains the image information indicating the images around the own vehicle including the direction of the driver's line of sight if the land and objects stored in the storage medium as the information about the land and objects do not exist in the azimuth within the predetermined distance from the position of the own vehicle.
