PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that throughput is remarkably degraded when streams for the same encryption algorithm processing are congested, in a confidential information processing device encrypting and decrypting a stream while changing a context necessary for a cryptograph processing. SOLUTION: This confidential information processing device is provided with: stream analysis circuits 2a and 2b requesting an encryption operation; request selection circuits 3a and 3c determining one of the requests; a plurality of encryption operation circuits 6a<SB>1</SB>, 6a<SB>2</SB>and 6c; data relay circuits 4a<SB>1</SB>, 4a<SB>2</SB>and 4c; a stream control circuit 1 controlling the stream analysis circuits and an external data path; a context storage part 8; a context control circuit 7 saving/restoring a corresponding context in cooperation with a context lookup table used for designating an execution order and the number of times of encryption operations, and contexts used for the respective operations; and a processing part selection circuit 5 determining an encryption operation circuit to process the selected processing request.
