PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of enhancing its positioning accuracy by selecting nodes whose positioning errors are small as parent nodes, when positioning is performed using mobile terminals in the periphery as the parent nodes, in a situation where any electric waves from stationary reference stations do not reach. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal monitors positioning signals which the stationary reference stations or mobile terminals in the periphery distribute, acquires them regarding the stationary reference stations or the mobile terminals in the periphery as parent node candidates, selects three parent nodes while giving precedence to the stationary reference stations, when there are four parent node candidates or more, determines the position of the mobile terminal using positioning signals distributed from the parent nodes, and moreover distributes a positioning signal containing the determined position.
