PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy plug which can be pulled out easily from a contact insertion port formed in an overall waterproof type waterproof member. SOLUTION: The dummy plugs 80A, 80B are used for a waterproof connector 1 equipped with the overall waterproof type waterproof member 40. The dummy plugs 80A, 80B include insertion operating parts 82A, 82B when inserting waterproof parts 81A, 81B into the contact insertion ports 41A, 41B, elastic pieces 83A, 83B elastically hooked to a cover member 50, and drawing out operating parts 84A, 84B when drawing out the waterproof parts 81A, 81B from the contact insertion ports.
