<p>An association between a beaconing device (110-X) and a plurality of client devices (120-1, 120-M) is established in a distributed wireless network (100). A super- frame (200) is periodically transmitted from the beaconing device (110-X), wherein the super-frame (200) includes a plurality of mini-frames (210-1, 210-k) and each of the mini-frames (210-1, 210-k) includes a directional beacon. Then, a neighbor request message (320), sent from a client device (120- Y), is acknowledged by the beaconing device to establish an association between the beaconing device (110-X) and the client device (120-Y).</p> |
