A detachable decorative light assembly includes at least one light strand, a main support frame configured for suspending the at least one light strand thereo n, a sub-frame positioned on the main support frame and disposed around the upper portion o f the main support frame and the at least one light strand; and a decorative outer coating configured for covering the sub-frame and the upper portion of the main support frame thereon.
