发明名称 OIL RECOVERY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover leak oil, generated in a converter casing 10 which stores a torque converter 20 or the like therein, onto the side of a transmission mechanism 60 and to prevent the recovered leak oil from causing frictional resistance at a rotating element of the transmission mechanism 60. SOLUTION: An automatic transmission is constituted in such a manner that the torque converter 20 and the transmission mechanism 60 are separated from each other and the leak oil leaking in the converter casing 10 is discharged into a transmission case 61 through an exhaust drainage circuit 42. In the automatic transmission, an exhaust drainage recovery chamber 64 communicating with a transmission mechanism storage section 63 is formed separately from the transmission mechanism storage section 63 by partitioning the space within the transmission case 61. The exhaust drainage circuit 42 is connected to the exhaust drainage recovery chamber 64 in such a manner that an exhaust port 42b of the exhaust drainage circuit 42 is located above the surface of the oil stored in an oil pan 69. Thus, the leak oil is arranged to flow into the transmission mechanism storage section 63 via the exhaust drainage recovery chamber 64 without being directly discharged into the transmission mechanism storage section 63.
