The preferred abrasive material is in the form of glass beads having a particle size in the range 70-200 microns. The treatment reduces the reflectance of the surfaces and, where membrane removal occurs, results in a reticulated foam. Uses.-The treated foams may be used as backings or interlayers for garment textiles. |
