Caldenering plastic film - with continuous wax absorption

A small dia. metal roller is covered with a soft absorbent paper and runs freely, pressed against the last take-off roller of the calender system. When the paper is filled with wax, the roller is swung out of action and a fresh paper is applied. There is therefore no interruption to the calendering process. The small dia. roller increases its pressure on the other roller and the consequent wax absorption.
