Adjustable slicing apparatus for slicing slabs of bacon and the like which compensate for deviation in thickness of slabs. Basically, this is accomplished by adjustably cutting the slabs on a bias using the improved apparatus which feeds and slices the bacon slabs. The apparatus includes an angularly displaceable cutting means, and means to control the angular displacement so that the slabs may be cut on a selected bias when advanced through the cutting plane.
