Folding device fitted to packaging machine - used to wrap individual packages, uses movable folding box to shape wrapping

The folder has a folding channel, through which a grp. of individual packages is moved. The packages are wrapped in a sheet of packaging material, which is formed into a rectangular package. A forming box may be moved into the folding channel, to act as an abutment for the folding process. The front of the box consists of a wall, which may be removed in direction of the channel. The sheet of packaging material is situated between the moveable wall and the remaining parts of the box. The channel contains a holding down appliance, moveable relative to the box. The side of the box opposite to the moveable wall is open to allow for the insertion of the individual packages.
