Two-point controller frequency limiting device - with control variable range regulated by frequency control circuit

The device is intended for systems with an energy storage unit in the load circuit, esp. for d.c. drives with fixed d.c. voltage source. A frequency control circuit generates a signal when the output frequency of the two-point controller reaches a predetermined value, and this signal is fed to the controller to increase the range of variation of the control variable. The controller is pref. an operational amplifier wired to act as a control variable comparator and having a controlled negative element between its output and its non-inverting input to determine the range of control variable variation.
