<p>A material drying installation consists of a series of chambers and a transport system inside the chambers is constructed such that each chamber is zoned. In the first zone is a supply pipe for hot air input directed at the material, in the second zone is a radiant heating element for heating of both material and air and in a third zone, behind the second zone, a series of ventilators are situated to remove the circulated air from the internal regions of the chamber and to circulate the air back to the input area in the first zone. The whole drying system is constructed symmetrically about the transport mechanism i.e. above and below the path of the material to be dried.</p> |
