<p>Labelling procedure for deep drawn cups such as yoghurt cartons etc., where the label is introduced into the extrusion die and, on forming the cap in the die, is applied to the cup wall and fixed. The labels (2) which are cut to their final shape near the extrusion station (1), are guided from below onto the extruded member during the working stroke and are sealed onto the extruded cup at their top edge (4) at the cup dividing distance. They are introduced into the opened deep draw die (5) when the extended cup is advanced. A device for performing such a procedure has a label transporting element, such as a chain, between a label-cutter and the deep drawing die (5).</p> |
