Stopper for enclosing containers - has hot shrunken plastic cover for sealing container opening

Stopper for enclosing containers such as bottles includes a cover (2) from a hot shrunken plastic material for sealing the opening of the container. The cover is produced from a thick wall tube (1) which is first shrunk on the stopper and thereafter its top is heated and under application of a pressure drawn over the top of the stopper. The tube used is either seamless plastic tube or is made from layers of hot shrunken foil. The top of the cover is provided with identification marking (7) which is impressed in its top surface by heated plate which is drawing the end of the tube over the top of the stopper.
