<p>The system is particularly for loading cranes with slewing and buffing jibs mounted on lorries, the motions being controlled by valves actuated either directly by levers or by remote control from an electric switchbox. The hand lever of each control valve has a push-pull rod (8) coupled to it, equipped with a clutch (5, 6) engaged and released from the switchbox. The rod is coupled to a reduction gear (9, 11) driven by an electric motor (10), controlled from the switchbox. Each lever is spring-loaded into a position corresponding to the cut-off position of its respective valve. The clutch can be actuated by a solenoid, there being teeth on the end of the armature engaging the push-pull rod.</p> |
