<p>The pneumatic joint, e.g. continuous cell (7, 8) between tent panels (2, 3, 4) comprises two interspaced opposed supply non-elastic membranes (1) which form a completely sealed cell between the tent panels or other conjoining components. Pref the membranes are continuous over both the components (3) and the joint, or overlap the component (2, 4) periphery sufficiently for bonding purposes, and the panel of component can be solid, cellular or itself independantly inflatable. Prifices (14) traversing the core of panels can be provided whereby gas under pressure travels from joint to joint.</p> |
