<p>The wall element is used for partitioning and lining of residential and office rooms. The cross grain adhesive bonded timber plate has high form stability under changeable humidity and heat effects. This timber plate has also excellent acoustic and thermal insulation properties. The rectangular cross grain adhesive bonded timber plates have outside layers with fibres parallel to the longer edges. The core layers have grooves parallel to the shorter edge on alternate sides. Good acoustic and thermal insulation properties are obtained with grooves of 1-2mm width. A plate has jacking screws on one edge for clamping plate against floor and ceiling. Rubber sealing profiles (3,11) are fitted against the floor, ceiling and walls.</p> |
