A system is used for production of a framed transparency slide. There is a plastics or metallic slide frame within which the transparency or slide is mounted and enclosed. The frame is constructed so that it is oversize in at least two of the sides at right angles to one another. The oversize is arranged in relation to the frame outer edges with respect to the image or picture field or other reference points of the slide transparency which is contained within the frame.
