The indoor receive aerial consists of a rectangular metal frame (104) adjustable in length and fixed in width. The frame consists of two parallel longitudinal rods (105) sliding inside two parallel longitudinal tubes (106) to give a telescopic arrangement. The remote ends of the tubes and rods are joined together by short crosspieces (112). The leads are connected to the short crosspiece tubes and pass to a connector (101) in the aerial support. Two such telescopic frames may be mounted on the support to form a V-aerial. Each frame may also pivot about its lower end -- i.e. about the crosspiece tube.
