The metal profiled section for double or multiple insulating glazing consists of a channel section with a web (2) and two flanges (1, 3), the interior flange being provided with two internal ribs (6, 15) and the exterior flange being provided with one internal rib which is positioned a little less than halfway between the two ribs on the other flange, the ribs abutting against the glazing (10, 11). The web is provided with two ribs (20, 21) which can be continuous or discontinuous against which the edges of the glazing are abutted. The web also has another rib (19) which locates in the window frame and the profile is sealed by elastomeric adhesive (22, 23, 25).
