<p>Magnetic core for a monophase or a multiphase high tension power transformer, comprising at least a column (10) and the associated fieldclosing yokes (12, 14). The yokes are provided with further auxiliary yokes (20, 22) forming low resistance return paths for the leakage magnetic field of the transformer windings. The auxiliary yokes (20, 22) are mechanically connected to the field-closing yokes (12, 14). They are made of stacked transformer sheets, the stacking direction being parallel to the stacking direction of column (10) and to the stacking direction of the field-closing yokes (12, 14). Field-closing yokes (12, 14) and auxiliary yokes (20, 22) are pressed together by means of side sheets (30). The auxiliary yokes (20, 22) have sufficient dimensions for ensuring the flow of the whole leakage magnetic field generated by the transformer winding. </p> |
