PURPOSE:To heat liquids without using caloric heat, electric heat, etc., by utilizing the generation of heat by a catalytic reaction in the case when adding fresh water to calcium oxide, in this liquid heating method suitable for food and drink, such as, coffee, instant Chinese noodles, etc. CONSTITUTION:An inner tin 2, which is manufactured so that the cover can be opened by pulling a knob 7, is housed in an outer tin 1 in an eccentric shape, and calcium oxide (Quicklime) is filled in a void portion between the inner and outer both tins 2, 1 while a fresh-water tin 4 is installed to the upper portion. When heating drink liquids, such as, coffee, etc. in the inner tin 2, the cover is opened by pulling the knob 7, and the bottom of the fresh-water tin 4 is broken through by means of a push rod 9 by strongly depressing a push-button 8. Thus, fresh water in the fresh-water tin 4 is injected to the quicklime 6, and liquids in the inner tin 2 are heated by the generation of heat by a catalytic reaction of the quicklime 6. |
