The roller skate is fitted with two front wheels (5) and one rear wheel (3) with their bearings on a base plate. The diameter of the front wheel rollers (5) is greater than that of the rear wheel rollers and there is a buffer unit fitted to the front end of the roller skate. The base plate is made in one unit with an overshoe(6). It is made from the same material and produced in the same process. The over shoe consists of a sports shoe the front cap of which has been removed and which is screwed onto the base plate. The rear wheel roller (3) runs in a fork type bearing and the two front wheel rollers are positioned on a common bearing shaft (4).
