PURPOSE:To carry out each cycle of an air conditioner at a high efficiency, by reducing resistance to heat transfer acted at the time of taking out heat from heat accumulator. CONSTITUTION:Crystal 2a of heat accumulating material, produced when taking off heat from heat accumulatng container 1, is formed over the outer surface of rod- like enclosed containers 11 which are inserted into the container 1. When thickness of the crystal 2a is increased to a certain value, heat is transferred through the enclosed containers 7 by means of heater 4 so as to detach crystal 2a of heat accumulating material from the outer surface of cotainers 7. Crystal thus detached is made to flow downward or upward along the cntainers 7 and accumulated at an upper or lower portion of container 1. |
