<p>The anti-lock brake has pressure control valves and modulating valves in a common housing, with the axes of the modulating valves at right angles to those of the control valves. This provides a small connecting space between the valves and a rapid reaction to the anti-lock signals. The common housing is a simple plastics moulding which allows easy assembly of the valves. The air trapped between the valves is sufficient to provide operation of the different membrane valves without affecting the response of the system.</p> |
