Mine gallery forwarding scrape conveyor chain - has deflector on bottom strand forming guide rail and checking loose stones

The machine is used for driving forward underground mine galleries. It includes a double-strand chain scrape conveyor with a chain deflected on the cutter roller and running back on top of the arm supporting the roller. The bottom strand (18) of the chain is fitted with a deflector(25) extending into the wedge (22) between itself and the roler (6). Its side forms a guide-rail(26) for the bottom strand, tangential to the roller, of the same length as chain division. Stones and other waste cannot penetrate between chain and roller.
