PURPOSE:To ensure the disc protection and to perform the information processing stable for a long time, by the constitution that the disc is contained in the enclosed case, the unit is made so that it can be driven externally, and it is loaded and unloaded to the loading section of the main body. CONSTITUTION:The unit loading section 3 is made of the stepped concave having the unit support surface 8, further concave is formed at the center of stepped concave to form the flange containing section 9. Further, in the disc unit 2, the disc 5 is contained in rotation-free in the enclosed case 10 consisting of the lower and upper covers 10a, 10b of circular dish shape so that the disc can be driven externally. That is, the upper and lower ends of the rotating shaft 12 is outside the enclosed case 10, the follower flange 13 as driven part is formed incorporatedly at the lower end and the stop ring 14 is inserted at the upper end. Thus, the disc protection is ensured and ease of handling is achieved. |
