PURPOSE:An adhesive paper, useful for a label or wall paper, having improved rereleasability, and prepared by laminating a surface base paper, a pigment coat layer containing a metallic compound, e.g. Mg compound, and an adhesive material layer consisting of a specific aqueous emulsion type acrylic adhesive material on a release sheet. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive paper prepared by laminating a surface base paper 1, a pigmanet coat layer 2 containing one or more compounds of metals, e.g. magnesium, calcium or zinc, preferably magnesium hydroxide or calcium carbonate, in an amount of 0.5-100wt% based on the total pigment, an adhesive material leyer 3 consisting of an aqueous emulsion type acrylic adhesive material consisting of an acrylic copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 80-90wt% a soft monomer, e.g. an acrylic ester containing a 4-12C alkyl group, with 10-20wt% a rigid monomer, e.g. vinyl acetate, and 0.5-10wt% an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer on a release sheet 4. The pigment preferably contains 5-50pts.wt. on the dry basis, a binder, e.g. starch, per 100pts.wt. on the dry basis of the pigment. |
