<p>The control handle for a tyre inflating valve has a sliding sleeve (2) over the bottom end of an air tube (1) with an angled end (5) to operate against the inner face of a sloping valve head (4). The valve head has inflation sockets at each end and has valve gripping clamps (7) operated by the sliding angled end of the sleeve. A pressure plate (10) between the angled end and the valve clamps is sprung to open the clamps when the sleeve is pulled back, by gripping a collar (6) at the top end of the sleeve. The sleeve allows the user to reach difficult positions, e.g. the inner valves of twin wheels.</p> |
