<p>The module has a dielectric substrate with a pair of line electrodes and a pair of column electrodes defining a rectangular frame enclosing a pair of thin-film MOSFET's (T1,T2), a capacitor (Cs) and display means coupled to a visualisation zone. The gate of the first transistor (T1) is controlled by one of the line electrodes, its drain coupled to one of the column electrodes and its source coupled to the capacitor (Cs). This is coupled at the same side to the gate of the second transistor (T2); its drain being coupled to the visualisation zone, with the other capacitor terminal coupled to the other line electrode. The source of the second transistor (T2) is coupled to the line electrode controlling the first transistor (T1). Pref. the line and column electrodes are each about 50 microns in width with a spacing of about 500 microns between consecutive line and column electrodes. The module is designed to reduce the number of necessary connections.</p> |
