Corrugated cardboard packing box - is made of unitary blank with edges of vertical walls folded into reinforcing tubes

The box is formed from a sheet of corrugated cardboard (1) with cut (8-11) and fold lines defining a bottom panel. Two vertical walls (14,16) extend from opposite ends of the base, their opposite lateral edges being folded to form reinforcing corner tubes (32-35). Flaps (20,21) joined to the sides of the bottom fold against, and are glued to, these tubes. One of the walls (16) is extended at the top to form a cover (17) with peripheral flanges (24,25,26) glued to the tubes and to the top edge of the opposite wall.
