PURPOSE:To recover the latent heat of vaporizatin of combustion gas effectively by mounting a secondary heat exchanger for recorvering waste heat to one part of a heat exchanging section set up between an outlet and inlet pipe and a header for the outlet and inlet section communicating with the pipe in the storage type hot water supply machine separating a hot water storage tank and the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:When a burner 15 is burnt under a condition that the inside of the hot water storage tank 11 is filled with water, the combustion gas is forcedly discherged through the functioning of a blower 22 for combustion, passes through the primary heat exchanger 1 and the secondary heat exchanger 6 and is heat-exchanged, and is discharged to an exchaust top. In this case, water flowing in from the inlet pipe 13 is distributed to a plurality of fin pipe sections 2, 7 by means of the inlet section header 5, previously heat-exhanged with exhaust heat by means of the secondary heat exchanger 6, heat-exchanged with the combustion gas having a high temperature by means of the primary heat exchanger 1, changed into hot water having a high temperature, and fed into the hot water storage tank 11 from the outlet pipe 10 through the outlet section header 4. Since the secondary heat exchanger 6 is arranged at the inlet section header 5 side and formed in fins 8 where dew is easy to condensate, the dw condensation of the combustion gas is promoted, and the latent heat of vaporization can be recovered effectively. |
