PURPOSE:To eliminate the distortion of an automatic original feeder, by applying a reverse turning torque nearly equal to the turning torque caused by the feeder only to the place near to a single side plate and an connecting obliquely between a coupling frame and the side plate with a control member. CONSTITUTION:Weight distributions G1 and G2 are applied to the side plates 28 and 29, and the torque T due to a twist spring 38 is applied only to the plate 28. As a result, the tip side of the plate 28 moves upward to cause the distortion. Here the force to draw the plate 29 toward a coupling frame 35 is applied to a long screw 41 by shortening the length of a control member 42, and accordingly a component force F is produced at the plate 29 on the basis of the frame 35. Then both the screw 41 and the component 42 are controlled to obtain an approximate coincidence the twist degree of the entire device that is caused by the force F and the twist degree caused by the drift of the functioning point of the spring 38. Thus the twist is eliminated to obtain a feeder which is free from any distortion. |
