PURPOSE:To detect the leakage of lubricating oil accurately with a fluorescent dye on a substrate by mixing the fluorescent dye beforehand with the lubricating oil supplied to the revolving shaft part of a nozzle part. CONSTITUTION:Driving air is supplied through a supply port 6, and is mixed with the lubricating oil through a lubricating oil supply port 7. The mixture passes through an air motor 5, after which it is discharged through a discharge port 8. Part of the lubricating oil is sent for the lubrication of the bearing 4 of a revolving shaft 2 and is discharged through a suction and discharge port 9. A solvent is supplied through a solvent supply pipe 10 to a nozzle part 3 and paint is supplied through a paint supply pipe 11. When a shaft seal 12 at the bottom end is degraded and the suction force through the port 9 drops, the lubricating oil leaks and arrives at the nozzle part from which it is sprayed to the substrate together with the paint in the stage of painting work. A small amt. of a fluorescent dye is mixed with the lubricating oil supplied through the port 7, and when a defect is produced in the paint film by this leaking lubricating oil, the presence of the fluorescent dye is detected, whereby it is detected that the cause for the defect of the paint film is the leaking lubricating oil. |
