PURPOSE:To enable to perform an excellent rectilinear and high-reliable measurement of bodily temperature without the need for a logarithmic processing, by a method wherein an integrating voltage, corresponding to a change in resistance corresponding to temperature of a thermistor is discharged through a time- constant circuit to device temperature. CONSTITUTION:A voltage, changing corresponding to temperature of thermistor resistance Rth which is connected to a voltage power source E1 and whose resistance value loharithmically varies with temperature, is integrated via a switch S1 and a preamplifier 10 to charge a capacitor C. The switch S1 is opened if a first counter of a control circuit 50 counts a given number of clocks. Simultaneonly, a switch S2 closes, the integrating voltage of the capacitor C discharges at a given time constant via a resistance R0, the switch S2 closes, and the second counter of the circuit 50 counts a clock until a discharge voltage attains a photoelectric starting voltage. The circuit 50 computes and decides a ratio of the counting values of the first counter to that of the second counter rectilinearly corresponding to a temperature change to display it in an indicator 60, and a high-reliable measurement having an improved rectilinearlity is made on a bodily temperature without the need for correction such as logarithmic processing. |
