PURPOSE:To obtain a flat and small-sized motor capable of reciprocating in the prescribed range by arranging a plurality of armature coils and a position detector on a stationary base plate in a circular-arc manner and journaling a rotary base plate having a plurality of field magnets oppositely to the coils. CONSTITUTION:More than two armature coils 9 formed by winding conductors in many turns are arranged on a stationary base plate 1, and a position detector 6 is similarly arranged on the base plate 1. A rotary base plate 3 is journaled to confront the base plate 1, and more than three field poles 2 alternately magnetized at N-pole and S-pole are provided at the parts which confront the coils 9. In this manner, a linear motor of flat and small size and reciprocation type in which the base plate 3 may reciprocate within an angular range between both ends of the armature coil, can be obtained. |
