PURPOSE:To reduce a moment acting on the lower part of each of ring members attached to the titled tank by a method wherein the ring member having a connecting section with which it is connected to each of supports erected on a base plate is provided at a position lower by 4 to 16 degrees below the equator of the spherical tank. CONSTITUTION:Each of the ring members 5 has, at the lower part thereof, a projection 5a forming part of the wall of the spherical tank 1 and the connecting section 5b connected to each of the supports 4 and at the upper part thereof, a combined section 5c at which the projection 5a and the connecting section 5b are combined. The ring member 5 is fixed to the spherical tank 1 at a position lower by 4 to 16 degrees below the equator of the spherical tank 1. |
