PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a color, by separating a signal processing part from a video display part via a video/chroma amplifying circuit part, connecting these two parts to each other via a cable and putting an LPF for compensation of frequency characteristics into the front or rear stage of the cable. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing block 6 consists of a VIF wave detecting circuit 1, a video/chroma amplifier 2, a transistor 3 for conversion of impedance, etc. A display block 7 a video amplifier 4, a chroma amplifier 5, etc. A connecting cable 8 connects the block 6 to the block 7. In addition, a cathode- ray tube (CRT) 9 is provided for the video display along with a low-pass filter (LPF) 10 for compensation of video/chroma frequency characteristics. It is possible to insert the LPF 10 either into the front or rear stage of the cable 8, and the front stage is more suitable than the rear stage in terms of the easy designing of the LPF 10. |
