PURPOSE:To lower a tone arm smoothly, by providing a balance weight for eliminating a bending moment put on a tone arm receiver. CONSTITUTION:An elevator device A is constituted of a cylinder 1, a piston 4 which provides an elevator bar 2 on the upper end of a piston rod 3, and a coil spring 6 which is depressed against viscosity of an oil layer 5 applied between the cylinder 1 and the piston 4, and especially, on the piston rod 3, a screw lever 9 is provided in the opposite direction to the tone arm receiver 2, to which a balance weight 10 is coupled. When adjusting the balance weight 10, it is adjusted so as to be balanced with a bending moment put on the piston rod 3 in case when the tone arm is in the middle position of a moving angle beta on a record R. |
