PURPOSE:To form a master material for magnetic photography capable of being restored to the initial state even when a magnetic latent image is destroyed by a floating magnetic field, by forming a layer of a substance fluidizable or sublimable by heaing, on the surface of a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material, such as gamma-Fe2O3 or CrO2 is attached onto a base layer 11 made of flexible material, such as plastic film to form a several-several tens mum thick magnetic layer 12, and on this layer 12 a thermotransferable material layer 13 is formed made of a thermotransferable material fluidizable or sublimable at 60-80 deg.C, such as carnauba wax or ester wax, thus obtaining a master material used for magnetic photography. |
