PURPOSE:To eliminate miscopying due to difference of sheet size, by memorizing the sheet size during continuous copying, and providing a controller for restartin the continuous copying when the sheets are replenished and after comparison of both sizes, their accordance is conformed. CONSTITUTION:When an operator sets an amt. of continuous copying, data on the sheet size, etc. detected with sheet size detection switches 2a, 3a are memorized in RAM 12. When the sheets are used up before the completion of the copy set amt., and the operator replenishes the sheets, or selects another sheet feed tray, CPU10 judges that the continuous copying is on operation in accordance with the contents stored in RAM 12, and sends a control signal for restarting the continuous copying to start it. At this signal of CPU 10, when the size is different from that before the suspension, even if a use permission display device 13 displays ''copy OK'', the restart of continuous copying is not executed. |
