INPUT DEVICE OF COORDINATE

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to external oscillation, by providing a pressure detecting type coordinate input device with plural supporting means to support an input plate and detectors and arranging a dumper between a basic plane on which the coordinate input device is put and a base plate on which the detectors are fixed. CONSTITUTION:The input plate 10 to input positional information or handwriting characters or patterns is fixed by four supporting means 12a-12d, divided pressure applied from respective supporting means to the input plate 10 are transmitted to four pressure detectors 16a-16d on the base plate 14 and position regulating means 18a-18d regulate the positions of the supporting means 12a- 12d. Spring members 20a-20d are fitted to prevent spring-back at the depression to the input plate 10 by applying preload to the pressure detectors 16a-16d and dampering means 24a-24d to absorb oscillation so as to prevent direct transmission of oscillation of a base plane 22 on which the input device is set up to the base plate 4 are put on the base plate 14. Each dampering means is formed by a rubber member 26, a cushion part 28 and a holding member 30.
