PURPOSE:To enable the unwinding of heat sensitive paper without slackening the same and to prevent the operational inferiority of a recording apparatus, by providing a driving force transmission means between roll paper formed by winding long heat sensitive paper and the drive roller of said heat sensitive paper. CONSTITUTION:The long heat sensitive paper 1 withdrawn from roll paper 2 is printed while fed between a thermal head 5 energized by a spring 27 and the drive roller 6 driven through a timing belt 10 by a step motor 8 through a guide roller 4 and subsequently cut at a predetermined place by a cutter 7. In the above-mentioned apparatus, the shaft 2 of the roll paper 2 is held in a slot 23 while the roll paper 2 is energized to a left-hand direction by the press roller 36 energized by a spring 38 and further contacted with the drive roller through a transmission roller 29. As a result, because the roll paper 2 is also revolved to an unwinding direction when the drive roller 6 is reversely rotated and the heat sensitive paper 1 is fed to the direction opposite to an arrow C (during unwinding), the generation of the slackening of the heat sensitive paper 1 is avoided. |
