PURPOSE:To execute various sorts of workings in coherence by use of a composite exclusive machine having the constitution in which an NC apparatus in simultaneous 2-3 axis control system and an indexing tool rest are installed, and working processes are united. CONSTITUTION:A stand 2 fixed onto the upper surface of a bed 1 is constituted so that a turning shaft which constitutes the center part of an indexing tool rest 3 is axially supported at the both edges. In working, a tool 6 is set onto a tool setting shaft 5 by use of the tool rest 3, according to the details of working for a workpiece 4 beforehand. For example, in stentering work, the tool 6 is set onto one surface of the tool rest 3. Then, the tool 6 on the tool rest 3 is indexed, and a fast head stock 17 is advanced in the direction of Z axis by a Z- axis servomotor 16, and the coupling 15a on a main spindle 15 is engaged with the coupling 5a on the shaft 5. With such a constitution, various sorts of workings in coherence can be executed by use of one unit of composite exclusive machine. |
