PURPOSE:To perform normal feed of bank notes, to improve the factor of acceptance of said bank notes through discrimination, and to prevent the occurrence of jam in a conveying system, by a method wherein the edge parts of paper sheets are aligned along the one side of each of guide plates through vibration of the accumulating plate of an accumulating part. CONSTITUTION:When bank notes 10 are pooled in a pool part 22 and the bank notes 10 are accumulated on an accumulating plate 9a, through rotation in a direction S of cam rollers 9c-9f, the bank notes are moved in the direction of a guide plate 95 in a condition to be inclined and vibrated by the cam rollers 9c-9e, and 9f with respective different diameters, and simultaneously, they are moved in the longitudinal direction of the bank note 10, whereby the bank notes are moved in a direction T. The two sides, nipping one corner, of the bank note 10 made contact with guide plates 95 and 98 for alignment. Thereafter, when an upper plate 12 is lowered and a press spring pushes the bank note 10, the accumulating plate 9a is turned in a direction U around the shaft of a pulley P6, and the plate is slanted to position shown by a 2-dotted chain line to feed the bank notes 10 through a feeding part 22c. This allows normal feed of the bank notes 10. |
