The system allows particular sets of operations to be carried out at different places. It incorporates a workbench and a storage space for tools and instruments. These are combined into a single unit, movable by a single adult in one operation, typically by handles (6) and travel wheels. The wheels have brakes, and in the folded state the unit can be narrow enough to pass through an ordinary doorway. It can be suitable also for transport e.g. by van and can be arranged to dismantle into sections for passing through trapdoors.
